Azi Amirteymoori, Esq.

Senior Human Resources Consultant

Graduating from Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School with a Juris Doctor, Azi was initiated to the HR field in both the legal and insurance industries handling primarily workers compensation cases. In 2009,  Azi began her professional career in the public sector with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Employee Relations Division as a Departmental Civil Service Representative.  There she appeared before the Los Angeles County Civil Service Commission Board and represented the Department in all employment matters. 

In 2015, Azi expanded her career in the employee and labor relations field by joining the health care industry, where she was an employee relations manager at UCLA Health and later for the City of Hope (COH), advising and consulting her clients on various employment law matters which included investigations,  EEO claims and providing training & development to leadership, all while consulting on business and organizational development.

During Azi's tenure with the LA County Fire Department, UCLA Health and City of Hope, she worked in both union and non-union environments, successfully negotiating numerous labor-management agreements with various labor/union organizations.  This included responding to grievances and addressing joint union labor & management meetings to successfully discuss and address a myriad of workplace concerns.

Azi joined Executive HR Consulting Group as a Senior HR Consultant in early 2019 when she worked for The Walt Disney Company.  As an Employee Relations Manager for The Disney Company, Azi served the Southern California Disney Stores, Parks, Consumer Products and Disney Imagineering.  Her work there involved a variety of human resources services such as investigations, human resources consultations, learning & development, workplace accommodations and other special projects as needed.

Currently, Azi is the Director of Employee Relations at Marvell Technology Group.  As the Director, Azi provides employee relations and performance management expertise, case management and consultation, within a newly created centralized Employee Relations (ER) function for the North America. In this role, she develops and applies fair, consistent practices and processes consistent with Marvell's culture and core values.

Further, Azi provides consultation and sessions in personal development strategies.  Azi was a student of Michael Benner who is an expert in Mindfulness based instruction for stress reduction, career advancement, self-awareness & emotional intelligence, anxiety and spiritual growth.  She has completed training taught by Dale and Lisa Hubler in restorative meditation and hypnotherapy.

Azi is bilingual English/Farsi and is an active member of the California Bar Association.
