It is an honor and a privilege to highlight Sharon Nixon today.  I have known Sharon for over two decades and admire her problem solving skills and overall HR knowledge.

Solving “people” problems is Sharon’s passion. Formulating creative solutions for businesses in the areas of employee relations, recruitment campaigns, retention strategies, policy and handbook creation, performance improvement, and conflict resolution.

Sharon has many years of HR Leadership experience as a Director and VP of HR with local and regional responsibilities. She has California Law experience and has worked in both union and non-union environments. Her experience working with both employees and leaders has allowed her to hone her skills as both a facilitator and a coach. Sharon’s calm and confident approach has a positive effect on employees, helping them feel comfortable and at ease when engaged in coaching conversations.

Sharon is originally from Massachusetts and has her B.A. from North Adams State College (now Mass College of Liberal Arts) in English/Communications. She is a certified mediator and has participated in numerous contract negotiations.
