About the Survey
The survey is comprehensive, covering all exempt and non-exempt positions. Information is specific yet presented in a way that maintains strictest confidentiality for all participants. All returned data is shown in “averages”. (A minimum of six (6) participating hotels is required, in order to maintain the integrity & the confidentiality of the data.)
Survey Results and Reports include:
- General Findings Report (rooms, employees, ratios, banquet service charge splits, turnover, perks, incentives, other relevant data collected, etc.)
- Overall Statistical Report for entire group – Non-Exempt Positions
- Overall Statistical Report for entire group – Exempt Positions
- Benefits Information (H&W, co-pays, PTO, Retirement, etc.)
- Participant List
Survey intelligence from Executive HR Consulting Group gives you the information you need for effective evaluation of your largest expense — compensation. By having accurate, useful data on the compensation structure in a competitive labor market, hotel management professionals can understand current industry trends and find opportunities for cost containment, reduction of turnover, improved budget analysis and more successful recruitment efforts.
Invitations to Participate – ECG sends out invitations to participate via email, and in accordance with the Annual Calendar. Should you wish to receive an invitation to participate, simply email your request to cmariotti@executiveHRconsulting.com.
Survey Processing through Electronic Media – Survey forms are completed online and submitted to ECG. The survey results are returned to each participant via email. The electronic format allows hotels to manipulate the returned data for individual purposes such as budgeting and further in-depth analysis.
Cost-Effective Pricing For Participation
Each participating property shall be billed individually:
2026 Participant Cost: $695.00
2026 Non-Participant Cost (purchase only): $1,350.00
What is Required of Each Participating Property?
Register online, select your survey of choice, and begin inputting your data as accurately as possible in all three TABS (Hourly, Exempt, Benefits), within the timeframe/due date requirements. Executive HR Consulting Group manages all other aspects of the survey.
NEW Guidelines for 2026
In order to be fair to all participants, and to generate more robust data reporting, all participants MUST COMPLETE ALL THREE SURVEY FORMS – Hourly, Exempt and Benefits. Failure to complete all three forms will disqualify the hotel from becoming a participant, and whatever data provided shall be discarded.
MID-YEAR WAGE SURVEYS for
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA and ARIZONA
Because of the ever changing wages, and because of high demand, we will begin conducting a “Mid-Year Wage Survey” (excluding benefits) for our Southern California and Arizona survey participants.
ONLY those hotels that participated in the Annual Benefits & Compensation survey earlier in the year, will be invited to participate,
Mid-year wage survey results will NOT be available for purchase to non-participants.
Wage survey results shall be provided by “Zone” only (hourly & exempt summary reports) – Note again please that we must have a minimum of six (6) hotel participants within any given zone as to maintain the confidentiality of the data.
