So Cal Hospitality Industry Annual Benefits & Compensation Survey Begins January 8th

The 2025 Southern California Hospitality Industry Annual Benefits & Compensation Survey kicks off this week on Wednesday, January 8th.  Your “Invitation to Participate” will be sent via email on that day, so make sure to check your spam folder in the event the invitation doesn’t land in your inbox!

New this year:

• We have updated our list of positions in the exempt and hourly survey forms.
•  We have separated Orange County and San Diego to best meet your competitive needs; creating “Zone VII”.  However, as always, we MUST have a minimum of six (6) hotel participants within any given zone, in order to protect the confidentiality of the data for any given zone.  That said, should we not receive sufficient participants in these zones, OC and SD will be “combined”, as in years past.
• To become a participant, all hotels must complete all three survey forms, Hourly, Exempt and Benefits.  Failure to complete any one of these survey forms will result in “non-participation”, and any data provided will be discarded.

Your data will be due no later than Friday, January 24th, 2025.  We anticipate the results to be ready for distribution early February or before.

Zone I        LAX and LA Beaches

Zone II      West LA and Beverly Hills

Zone III     Downtown LA, Valley’s and surrounding areas

Zone IV      Orange County

Zone V     Santa Barbara & surrounding areas

Zone VI    Palm Springs and desert areas

Zone VII  San Diego
