2024 Hospitality Industry Southern California Benefits & Compensation Survey

We are excited to report that a total of 77 hotels participated in this years’ Southern California Benefits & Compensation survey, representing 29,201 guest rooms, and 32,029 employees.
The results are broken down by geographical area, luxury properties (self-identified) and larger properties over 500 rooms. Included is also an hourly union wage report. The benefits portion of the survey outlines in averages and totals, the cost of health care for the employee and the employer, turnover percentages, labor costs, hospitality workplace practices, and much more.
