Holiday parties are a great way to recognize and thank your employees for their efforts. A company is nothing without its employees and with the holidays just around the corner, take the opportunity to celebrate your company’s accomplishments and success with your employees. Acknowledge and show appreciation for their hard work and commitment by planning a fun and festive holiday party.
If you want to provide alcoholic beverages during the holiday party, make sure you control the intake by possibly providing a maximum of two drink tickets per employee. Holiday parties are a great way to get together with all your employees and their families. However, it’s important to celebrate responsibly in order to eliminate any possibility of people getting injured or the company facing legal liabilities. By adding a limit to the number of alcoholic beverages allowed per employee, you can take preventative measures to ensure everyone comes and leaves the party safely.
You will be liable if your employee drives home under the influence of alcohol. When planning the holiday event, make strict restrictions on the number of alcoholic beverages allowed to ensure that both you and your employees are safe and protected. In the event that your employee is caught driving under the influence, the company may be held liable. Restricting the overconsumption of alcohol can ensure you and your employees have an exciting and safe holiday celebration.
Assign certain managers to observe participants, making sure that alcohol consumption is controlled. To ensure a safe and successful event, ask some of your managers to keep an eye out during the party for any employees that may be consuming too much alcohol or acting inappropriately. Taking these precautions can ensure that your guests have a pleasant, exciting, and safe time at the event.
If an employee is under the influence, do not let them drive home; call a taxi! Never let any of your employees drive home under the influence. This can create complications and legal issues for both you and your employees in the event that something happens. Arrange transportation for intoxicated employees by contacting a taxi service or finding someone who hasn’t been consuming alcohol to give the employee a lift home.
